Pebble Magazine Issue No. 1
A Finger Traced My Left Nipple; I thought that it was love. 13 Toronto women and womyn discuss perspectives on love and lust within their lives through painting, poetry, photography, illustration and writing.
Love is an elusive shadow figure, sometimes a warm blanket-- sometimes a wet one. Sometimes you don't even notice the blanket's wet through from a bad storm, until the weather clears and you're standing there shivering with your once gloriful comfort, now dripping and cold and weighted, then you start to reconsider. Love is a language we learn continuously as we grow; it changes as we do. This issue as such is a translation of each artists' experiences of the beginnings of love, and lust within their lives. Each copy is 32 pages, printed full colour.
